The tastes here are exotic even by local standards. Lost Heaven serves deeply flavourful Yunnan cuisine and dishes from minority peoples in China’s south-west, including the Dao and the Miao peoples, and even dishes from Myanmar. Thankfully, the menu comes with pictures of each dish. Fine choices are the Dai tribe chicken, Mandalay fish cake and the papaya salad. After dinner, the bar and lounge on the ground floor is an excellent place to while away the night.
